On March 2nd, 2013; we celebrated our40th anniversary advocating for members in the community. OCA is a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans. This annual banquet and fundraiser highlights past events that has made an impact to the community. Advocacy is the heart of what OCA is about. Many of our programs touch upon culture, education, professional development, and other community services. The organization handles issues that affect our community (leadership, social justice, hate crimes, bullying and harassment, etc.) and will continue to be here for many years.
It is the tireless efforts from the members and volunteers that help make every successful program a reality. Thank you to everyone, including sponsors and supporters who had put in so many hours and provided financial support over the years. We could not have done it without you and the longevity of this organization is proof that folks are passionate about OCA and wanting to give back to the community.
